Exploring the advantages that lie within the Cloud
The growth of interest in all levels of cloud computing is having an impact on the types of discussions CIOs are having with their CFOs. Cloud computing is influencing corporate IT and the way CIOs structure their IT budgets.
Most experts seem to agree that external clouds, whether public or private, will be embraced at an accelerated pace over the next 10 years and beyond. Removing the burden of implementing and managing IT from organizations, who’s’ core competencies are not IT, makes sense. However, cloud providers are impacted by human error and uncontrollable risks just as internal IT departments are.
