Our Mission

Many companies today find themselves with IT infrastructure configured in confusing, tactical and sub-optimal ways – the result:  IT “Chaos” preventing clients from taking full strategic advantage of IT to drive business initiatives and outcomes, and leaving them ill-prepared to deal with key IT strategies such as Cloud, Virtualization, etc.

Our mission at STA: make order out of IT Chaos, and guarantee it; allowing clients to ensure IT infrastructure is directly aligned with Business Outcomes and invest only where IT projects benefit the business strategy.

A company is only as good as the promise it keeps. How do we ensure we live our Mission Statement every day and deliver it consistently to our clients? We focus on technology only as a “tool” to solve your business challenge.

What do we mean by this?

Technology, applied correctly, can provide significant benefits to your business. These benefits include: productivity gains, cost containment and reduction, and greater metric and data visibility. Notice, none of these benefits is a technology benefit. We aren’t concerned with how great our new widget is and how much faster it is than the old one. EVERY component is a BUSINESS benefit and our technology solution serves one single role: it is the tool to solve the business problem.

A confession…

Too much technology today is sold only on its technical benefits! Many times, we become enamored with a technical feature and pay little attention to how the technology aligns with our business challenge. What happens? We diminish our ability to respond to market fluctuations and create an IT infrastructure limited in its ability to take advantage of key technologies.

How are we different?

At STA, until we understand your business challenges, we can’t offer you any solutions to meet your challenges! Our defined process requires we first spend time understanding your business challenges, and then we must ensure our expertise aligns with our ability to solve these challenges. Only then can we design the “tool” – a certified technology solution to address your business challenges.

How do we make good on our promise?

By building our partnership with you and certifying every solution we offer for technical and value leadership – our solutions will provide the benefits defined or we will refund your investment.

As our partnership grows with you, it will become clear that we deliver on our promises. However, in the beginning, you need absolute assurance we will make good on our promise – this is why we give you our written Solution Warranty (we are the only company that does). Again, to reinforce and demonstrate our intent to deliver on our promises.
